Project Overview
Flowdesk came to CodeHypes with traction but no product. They had been running their sales operation on a patchwork of spreadsheets and a generic CRM that fought their process at every turn. The goal was ambitious: launch a multi-tenant SaaS CRM that other businesses could subscribe to, while keeping the build lean enough for a startup budget.
We ran a focused discovery sprint to map their exact pipeline, roles and reporting needs, then designed an information architecture that made the most common actions effortless. The first release prioritised the workflows that drove revenue — lead capture, automated follow-up and a clear pipeline — and shipped on an architecture that could scale to thousands of tenants.
Over ten weeks we delivered in agile sprints, putting working software in front of real users early. Subscription billing, onboarding and analytics were layered in once the core loop felt right. The result was a product Flowdesk could sell on day one, with the headroom to grow without a rebuild.
The Challenge
A founder had proven demand but was stuck on spreadsheets. They needed a scalable, subscription-ready CRM with onboarding that actually converted trials into paying customers — without an enterprise budget.
Discovery
Discovery sprint mapped pipelines, roles and reporting. Wireframes and a clickable prototype validated the core loop before a line of production code was written.

Lessons Learned
Shipping the revenue loop first — capture, follow-up, pipeline — let Flowdesk start converting trials while we built billing and analytics in parallel. Multi-tenant decisions made early saved a costly migration later.
